Ms. Hélène Cartier began her career in the mining industry within the Cambior Inc. team before assuming the position of Vice-President, Environmental Services and Sustainable Development at Osisko Mining Corporation where she was closely involved in the development process and commissioning of the Canadian Malartic gold mine. With a degree in industrial engineering and a bachelor’s degree in law, Ms. Cartier has worked in the environmental field for over 20 years. She is a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec and she holds the designation of certified company administrator from the College of Company Administrators. Ms. Cartier sits on the board of directors of the Association minière du Québec and has served on the boards of directors of Endeavor Mining Corporation (2020-2021), Semafo Inc. (2019-2020), Groupe Technosub (2016-2017) and of the Classica Festival (2012-2018).
